The Challenge
A new 18 hole adventure golf course was to be built on the side of an existing golf course, the course would contain several bodies of water, the customer needed to have all the water covered by cameras to enable the course kiosk operative to watch all of the water at the same time to ensure all the course users were keeping safe at all times.
There was also a cave with waterfall obscuring the view of the cave area.
Due to the location there was a height limitation too.
The Solution
A brand new 17 camera 4k Hikvision cctv system give a view of all areas of the course as well as several other areas of concern around the area, a 32 channel NVR was fitted in a central location, a 4 metre specialist camera pole was fitted in the middle of the course to give a perfect vantage point without extending too high as per the constraints.
Camera cabling was installed within the cave walls to ensure the cameras were as in obtrusive as possible.
A 2nd monitor was installed behind the cafe counter in the main building to allow further monitoring for any incidents.
Joe at Red Technical was recommended to us by one of our golf club members, and he met with ourselves and the adventure course designers and between us, we worked out the optimal locations of the cameras, recording equipment and what was need to facilitate these. From design to quote to installation to handover the whole process was clear and the end product was a fantastic camera system with really clear images and we have already engaged Red Technical to install further cameras and security systems around golf club premises.
